All: (Greg) Buick/Olds/Pontiac 215 Cuid engines for 1961/62/63 had Aluminum heads. (Aluminum intake manifold) Buick 300 Cuid engines for (one year only) 1964 had Aluminum heads. (Cast Iron intake manifold) Buick 300 Cuid engines from 1965 thru 1967 had Cast Iron heads. However, I have been told by some folks (older than me) that a very few of the early (built in the 1964 calendar year) 1965 model year Buick 300 Cuid engines came out with Al heads. High probability it was 1964 built-up engines used for initial 1965 cars. Cheers, Mr. Shadow (Ret) |
