Thats true. There are only 4 bolts around each cylinder on the new
blocks as opposed to five on the old ones. From what I've learned,
however, this is not a problem. I am also told that the old heads
have more combustion chamber volume than the new ones, so if using old
heads on the new block, you lose some compression if you don't shave
them.

Do older heads really fit the new cross-bolt blocks? Seem to recall something
about not as many head bolts on these new ones.
