Well stated.

However, that is what has kept all but a few people from dragging one
restoration/sales outlet I know of into court on a regular basis.  Their
thinking is that if they hurt a wealthy person a little bit, they won't take
the time or trouble to hire an attorney, and pursue justice.  Heck, he's
even done it to an attorney - sold him a "fake" car.

Possibly because he wants to avoid a "libel" countersuit.  One way to keep
your opponent in a lawsuit from flinging crap at you is not to give him
anything to fling.
