Subject: Price for 72 Triumph Spit (USA)
From: paul a zielinski <paulzielinski@juno.com>
Guys,
I drove a 72 Spit that just hit the market at $2800/offers. The starting
price is high of course.
The rack and pinion seemed to be fine, brakes OK, maybe a bit of
universal clunk. Clutch and trans fine, 87,000 miles.
The frame looked to be clean and solid. The driver floor pan had been
replaced. There was a bit of bondo, dings, some body corrosion. But not a
rust bucket.
It is currently licensed and passed New York State safety inspection.
Looks like it might be a drive now and consider restoration later car.
So what's the value?
What's the value of the BEST 72 Spit in the USA?
Thanks and Cheers,
Paul
