If you didn't put fuel stabilizer in it, then it is almost certainly 
bad and almost certainly the cause of your woes.

You didn't mention trying starting fluid.  Wonderful stuff.  Try it 
first, it's cheap and easy.  It may be all that is needed to get the 
thing going.  If not, drain the tank, get a gallon of fresh fuel, and
it should start.
