Were?  It is my understanding that they still are.  

Occasionally someone on the Jensen list mentions the idea of putting
a motor home tranny (with overdrive) into their Interceptor.  But I'm
not aware of anyone who has actually done the conversion.  It's
really not a bad idea, because the Int needs another gear.  The engine
is screaming at 80mph.

Another Mopar-powered car that hasn't been mentioned in this thread is
the Monteverdi from Switzerland.  Lots of web sites out there, just
go to www.google.com and key in 'monteverdi automobile' in the search
box.
