I have looked up the 400181 Lucas number in my Lucas Cats, and know that it
fits a 'DK6" type distributor. In the Lorimer Cat I have found a conversion
from Lucas to Lorimer and can report that the cap should fit:-

Armstrong Siddeley 1931-38 12, 14, 15, 17hp
Austin 1932-39 12, 14, 16, 18, 20hp
Citroen 1949-53 23 hp
Citroen 1955-57 English
Daimler 1932-1940 15, 18hp
Hillman 1934-37 16, 20hp
Humber 1938-39 16, 21hp
MG 1932-29 18hp
Morris 1932-39 10, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 25hp
Rover 1932-39 12, 14, 16, 20hp
Singer 1933-35 14, 16hp
Standard 1933-36 14, 16hp
Sunbeam Talbot 1939 3 litre
Wolseley 1932-39 12, 14, 16, 18, 21 hp
Commer 1932-38 trucks

The Rotor, Condensor and points are much more catholic, and would fit a
wide variety of 4cyl and 6cyl vehicles. I can list if required but would
make me an RSI candidate from all the typing.

I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the catalogue listing but think it would
not be too far off the mark.

Best regards from Tasmania, Australia
