I have had 2 on MGC's. I have been very happy with the increased power,
ease of starting and smoother idle. Every 60's MG I have owned lately
(last 6 years) has had distributer shaft wobble. This is one area I DONOT
believe in going original. I carry the points and attaching wire and screws
with me but have never needed them and the benefits of the Crane optical
points have been great. My tach has always worked, but I have not checked
for correctness with a dwell. I WILL very soon and let you know.
