Alas! If this had only come up a month or two ago! Tuesday '7T6 MGB' goes
to John Bull in Pleasant Hill for an engine rebuild. Seems like I've
committed and he's ordered some of the parts. Perhaps "next time....."
On the other hand, I probably don't need YAP (Yet Another Project). And
a Ford F350 pickup is not the optimal commmute vehicle, even if it is
rather less damp inside than the MGB is, even with the hard top.
All this was brought on by the fact that the bottom end has finally gotten
too loud to be drowned out by the Original Equipment B.L. radio, which in a
perverse manner, really does play loud enough that simply adding a boom-box
would not take care of the bottom end problem.
