Here in Oregon (where the state flower is algae) shops sell a product
called "Dryz-Air" (spelling uncertain). It comes in a slotted spheroid
suspended over a catch basin.  The chemical in the sphere (looks like
sodium hydroxide) absorbs moisture from the air, liquefies, and drips
down into the basin.  The liquid is caustic.

They're sold for stored RV's, musty closets, ect.  I used to keep one in
my leaky Volvo to keep the interior windows from fogging in the winter.
A couple of these under your car cover/ tarp ought to help keep the
humidity down below the condensation point.  Try RV stores.
