        Larry,
I'm amazed to hear someone refer to Kroil. My grandfather's workshop had
the wonderful smell of Kroil permeating every object in it. When I
inherited all of the tools in it, and hauled them 2000 miles to my
parent's house, I found in the collection a can of Kroil. I get very
nostalgic whenever I open the can, and was wondering if the stuff's still
available.
By the way, I use it to free stuck stuff, and it works great.
However, a torch is also very handy to have. Remember, the products of
corrosion are brittle intermetallic compounds which crack easily
under impact, so sometimes a hammer driven, hand held impact driver can be used
with
good results.

Any response on where to get Kroil would be appreciated.

                Greg
