My guess is he's confusing the Hotshot with the King Midget, which was >not<
styled by...heck, the King wasn't styled at all.

*** Roger  -  The King Midget - wasn't that the car that came along about
'46 and lasted to about 1970.  It began life, as I remember, looking much
like a miniature version of a dirt track car and was a single seater.  Bet
they were great fun to drive.  Then about '50 or '51, wasn't it, the King
was re-styled to look more like a sports car of sorts.  Then again, as I
remember, in '57 it received another face lift taking on the appearance of
a small version of the Jeep.  It was square in shape, much more so than the
Crosley Hot Shot, and had Jeep-like wings, bolted on sheet metal.  Didn't
it become a two-seater?  It was about '66 when it increased its power by
using a Kohler 12 hp engine.  Am I right or is the old mind wondering
again?
