re what's connection between Jensen & V*lv* ? -- some of the (early?) 1800
series cars (and some 122?) were sent, after assembly, (to England?) to
have rag-top (canvas) crank-roll-back sun-roofs installed.  If anyone has
one of those, there's a small marker-plate above the center rear-view
mirror.

BTW, the rag-tops leak, so SOLers would feel right at home.  They're nice
,in some ways. though  take up head room (and I'm onlly 5' 4").
