It's been a long time since I sold my 76 Midget, but I don't remember
that rod being adjustable. (I had the tranny and/or slave cylinder out
several times, so I think I would have noticed that).
You didn't say what year your Midget is (pre/post `74). My Midget was
the Spritfidget variety, with the Spitfire 1500 engine/tranny. If yours
is one of the earlier ones, my comments obviously won't apply to you.
