SOLers,
While watching the tube in Southern California a few years back I saw a
wonderful ad for "Pup and Taco" (sort of a down-scale "Der Weinerschitzel).
They used a TR-3 in showing their drive-thru window in operation. The car was
driven by a huge dog. The best part, and I think the reason they used a TR-3,
was this: the windshield was off the car! Why? Because the camera angle was
from the front of the car, with no windshield glare for the camera to capture.
A question: how much wobble or lateral run-out is acceptable in a (wire) wheel?
My TR has a definite shudder at ~60mph and I suspect the wheels.
TIA,
Chris
