All the T-Types have mechanical clutch linkage. On the TA, TB, TC, the
linkage is (believe it or not) a chain. On the Early TD a cable was used,
but on later TDs and the TF the linkage was changed to a rather complex
system of rods. Of these, the original chain linkage is (IMNSHO) the
most reliable and easiest to adjust.
