That switch appears to be a LdN design, as several cars used it. In the
U.S. market, post Spitfires from 75 and MGBs from 77, as well as the
ever present Volvos, came withe them. I'd imagine most anything with a
LdN overdrive that is post 75 would have one.
Funny... here in the States Rover Group - America wants so much for that
switch that I buy them from Volvo. on't know the exact prices , though.

I've watched the Volvo "discussions" with some amusement. I've always
thought of the Volvos, at least the older ones, as honorary british cars.
Many years ago this area had a very competitive autocross group. Events
almost every weekend. There were four cars that had a shot at FTD on
any given weekend; Two Minis, my fathers Lotus 41, and a Lotus S7. The
7 was driven to the events with race tires stuffed into the passenger
seat and "trunk". The other three, and this included George Sykes (founder
of Seven Enterprises), towed to the event with a 73 Volvo.
