Austin Healey eng numbers

Have located two engines for a 1967 AH 3000 MKIII and wondered how to
determine the age and correctness of each engine.

The numbers are :

Engine # 1   29K   RU / H14172

Engine # 2   29KA RU/ H375

I've been told that one of these is not an AH engine but with the numerical
nomenclature so close I wasn't sure.

Any help would be greatly apprecaited.
