Ginetta questions

Fellow fiends:

As Marcus might say, a FOAF* recently took delivery of a new Ginetta kit car 
(sans engine or drivetrain).  I guess he now has a nice winter project 
assembling it.  I am very curious about this car, including prices, US 
dealer(s), registering and insuring the thing, and such.  Any net wisdom on 
this particular car?
