>Another TRF Summer Party is history. With the exception of fairly serious

>Do I understand correctly that the 1995 VTR event will be in Illinois?
Nope, I was there too... As to the 95 VTR meet, it is indeed
going to be in northern Illinois (Rockford).
> We were so soaked by 2:30
>Sunday we skipped the trophy presentation and opted for warm and dry.
We did the same thing. We've been to every TRF Summer party and this
was the first time we opted to leave before the Trophy presentation.
Sadly, there's really nothing that could be done about the weather
and I'm glad the rain held off until Sunday. We always camp out
and you should'a been there two years ago when a real blow-out
storm ripped through the area on Saturday night...it wasn't a pretty
sight afterwards.
One thing that was excellent this year was the increased security.
>From the much milder demeaner of the Saturday night party it is
obvious to me that there must have been many "gate crashers" at
past events. I was very happy to see the "check-point" on Killen
Road to control access to TRF's grounds.
Another great improvement was the food on Saturday. This was,
without a doubt, the best catoring job TRF has used.
Congrats to Charles Runyan, Dana Henry and all the TRF staff for another
great event.
Looking forward to next year:-)
