Hi all,
I've been catching up on the digests - work took me out of town
for a week and made me fall behind on my SOL fix (the nerve of
them guys! ;-) )
Anyway, on the GT6 battery/choke cable interference thread, I, also,
worried about the close proximity of the posts to the assorted
cables and the underside of the bonnet. Finally, I replaced the
the lump wth a side-post type, replaced the cables, and had
eliminated all of my concerns.
On other topics...
I have found a '62 Herald convertable here in Yellowknife. The
interior is gutted, the rockerpanels are rusted, the convertable top
is missing, ... the only question that comes to mind is whether TRF
and VB know who to call about supplying parts to the north via dog sled.
Oh, and brake lines and epoxy ... brakes, we need no stinkin' hydrolic
brakes. Bodge the brake pedel to the handbrake cable.
