Sorry if this has been answered. I haven't had time to read most of the
Digest yet. On my TR3A I used Locktite on the beasty along with the *use
once* NYLOC nuts. Works a charm.
Others have used drilled bolts and castellated (sp?) nuts along with a
cotter pin, but it's such a bugger of a spot for that.
By the way, looking WAY back to my post on the tranny fluid and stop
leak in the shocks they still show no sign of leaking and the ride is
firm but great. It would appear to be a good fix after five months of
driving it over rural roads.
