I can't help you with the prices, but I can give you the capacities used:
Very early minors used a 918cc sidevalve engine. After the merger with
Austin, Morris inherited the A series engine, which was fitted into Minors
in 3 capacities: 803cc, 948cc & 1098cc.
For the really evil, there is a company in North London which does
replacement engine mounts to allow the fitting of Fiat twin cam engines of
up to 2 litres....
