My '66 Spit hasn't moved in many months...
Yesterday I finally got her running and realized that the clutch
seemed to be stuck in the engaged position. (I could put the clutch pedal
down and didn't feel anything unusual, but the clutch wouldn't disengage.)
I checked the fluid level in the cylinder and it looked fine...
So I put the car in third gear and rocked/pushed it a few feet.
When I tried the clutch again I heard it "pop" free... Thereafter it
seems to be fine.
I know nothing about clutches... Could anyone tell me a likely scenario
for what happened?
Any advice on what kind of maintenance I should do?
