I've been running Castrol Syntec in my GT6+ since I put the new head on, and the oil still looks good (of course, I'm putting in a new quart every 500 miles or so). It's getting near time to change it; but I have a question: How can I change my filter more frequently than the oil itself? When I spin off the filter, won't large quantities of oil spill out while I attempt to spin on a new one, with slick, oily hands? This will make a mess, won't it? Showing my ignorance, Larry lesnyd@monsanto.com |
