There was a fairly recent discussion of how to remove and replace the
adjusting screw assembly in the ZS dashpots. When I saw that posting, I
thought "now _there_ is something that _isn't_ wrong with my car". Today
the rear dashpot won't hold oil overnight :-(
As I recall from the posting, the basic proceedure was to remove the
needle, insert a small drift, and tap the screw out through the top of the
air valve. Is there anything I'm not remembering? Is the clip holding the
screw in a c-clip or a star washer type thing?
And does the o-ring fit in a slot in the screw or does it rest on the
bottom of the tube? I ask this last question because since mine is not
working, it wouldn't be a good example to work from...
