For Will Zehring and anybody else who cares: Muriatic Acid (the industrial term for HCl solution) is nominally about 30-35% HCl, i.e. just a little less concentrated than the "pure" concentrated HCl (36.5-38%) that chemical supply houses sell. When the concentration is not all that important (as in etching concrete), some shops use the two interchangeably. Lee M.
