Hi,
It has been reported here by other astute observers that this Sunday, 10-Jul-94
is Day of Triumph at the Museum of Transportation, Brookline, MA. Hours of
the show are roughly 9-4 with the following time schedule:
9:00 Gates open
12:00 Last car on field
13:00 Ballots closed
13:30 Tech Seminar on concours judging
Film of Triumphs at Sebring back in the 60's
14:00 raffle off "gifts" from sponsors.
15:00 Awards
It costs $10 at the field, $9 if you pre-register. You get two passes to
the museum included in the cost plus the free raffle items at the end of
the show, so it's a better deal to display than to pay $4 per person to park
with the "other" cars.
There are 15 classes, and there will be multiple awards for each class
(depending on number of entrants). There is a "Triumph powered" class, so
bring your amphicars, TVR 2500M's and Midget 1500's for a chance to win!
This is the 5th annual show, and to commemorate, there will be extra spiffy
DOT t-shirts available in a limited number, don't hesitate: buy early!
I'll be there real early to help set up, but if any SOLer types want to say
"Hi", I'll be wearing my white TR cap and probably a 5th DOT shirt too. My
car will have the SOL logo prominently displayed on the dash too (carmine
red '74 TR6 with silver side stripe.)
Hope to see you there.

p.s. the organizer, Bob Totten, is really hoping to get over the magic Ton
this year, so if you bring your Triumph please enter it. It would be really
cool to get 100 Triumphs on the field.
