Triumph X numbers

Regarding my previous post about this X-series engine in a Triumph PI,
there's one thing I forgot to mention. The engine is not the original, it
was changed by the owner before the chap I got it from, and I haven't been
in touch with him yet to find out what he knows.

I'm also writing to Anders Clausager at Heritage to see if they've got
anything!!

I'll keep y'all informed.
