The Master cylinders from 1970 and 76 are different in two ways: the fittings
and the overall length. You can get around the fittings problem by also
using the PDWA from the 1976, the metal brake pipes that run from the
master to the PDWA, and also the ones that run from the PDWA to the brake
unions at the frame of the car.
However, since the later unit is longer, you'll have to beat the firewall
a bit to get it to fit properly.
