The Cranberry Rallye was great success thanks
to the hard work of the Bell's and Falconeirri's.

Between 10 and 11 AM on Saturday, 7 Sprites,
a TR 6, a MGB, 3 100-4's, about 12 3000's, a 1960
Corvette, and what I suspect is the only mint green
100-6 in existence met at the Hells Blazes Tavern
in Rochester, MA. The rallye winded its way through
numerous cranberry bogs until reaching Plymouth
with some spectacular views of the rugged Massachusetts
coast. We parked right next to the Mayflower II and
proceded to gather numerous clues in the immediate
vicinity needed for the rallye. The trip then proceded
south along the coast to the base of Cape Cod. Thank
goodness the second leg included a lunch stop because
we were all pretty starved. The third leg found us down
on the wharves in Mattapoisett and out at the Mattapoisett
light house. The fourth leg sent us back to the Falconeirri's
for the end of the rallye, taking in a wonder causeway across
a reservoir with a nice tight "S" curve in the middle.

The originally advertise Rallye time of 3.5 hours stretched
to about 6 hours for all involved. Perhaps it will be retitled
the Cranberry Enduro for next year. An immense amount
of food, drink, and a live Jazz band awaited the mostly tired,
but happy, rally crowd at the end of the day.

Southern Massachusetts was clearly shown to be one of the most
beautiful driving locations on earth. The rallye master promised
an encore for next year, if you can possibly make it, this this
a rallye not to be missed!
