Hullo guys,
I should be getting a set of Michelin Redlines w/approx. 80% of
their tread left sometime this week. There are four tire with
innertubes. I ahve decided that I need a tire that will do better on wet
surfaces and might sell these if someone offers enough. Otherwise, I'll
keep 'em and wait 'til I can restore my car fully.
Anyhow, my roommate and I need some bits and pieces. He has a
'59 TR3 and would like some wheels for it; it now has TR6 rims and looks
awful. First choice (unless you've got wires and splines REAL cheap)
would be TR250 rims (slighly larger than the '3 rims) and second woulf be
factory '3 rims. Worst case scenario would be TR4 rims, which he'd have
to modify to take the hubcaps.
He also still needs the interior trim board that covers the gas
tank (interior is black vinyl). I need virtually an entire TR6 body as
mine is rusty EVERYWHERE (imagine that). Anyone??? Or how 'bout a gg
ood set of beige or brown seat cover kits for a '76 TR6? Seat bottom
foam set?
Any advice or offers would be appreciated, gents. Happy British
motoring!
Thanks again,

p.s. -- we're in east central Illinois. Also, any '67 MGB parts
available: steering wheel (have an early wheel to trade), rear end (my
diffy is whining), overdrive?
