You don't say what TR engine you're interested in - there is more than
one, you know?

The supplementary feed pipe on the oil feed pipe on my 4A uses a banjo
bolt to go into the oil gallery. For the 6 block, you can pick your
favorite spot - the oil gallery has lots of visible plugs that are
Allen-headed 1/8 NPT. Take out any one of them and stick a fitting in.

Same question for the spin-on. I have the TRF unit for both cars; on
the 4A it's without a cooler and works quite nicely; I ended up
sandwiching TriumphTune cooler adapter onto it and had lots of
problems. If you go this route, buy both adapters from the same source
and make sure they fit together well off the car.

On the 6 block, I have TRF's spin-on with oil cooler fittings and it's great.

I've never had trouble with *either* of these shedding metal; the
threads are all plated, hardened steel, not aluminum.
