1. 1939 German Grand Prix: English winner would have been Dick Seaman.

2. John Dombey's Mayonnaise in rocker cover: could just be harmless 
condensation.
Have you had a cold winter there, and been driving it? (Seattle?). Looks 
like you need to grind a couple of valves, though.

3. Tim Mullen's Glass Wax. This sounds a lot like what we call "Windolene"
over here, and the Reckitt & Coleman label seems to confirm that. This is
an ancient domestic product, mentioned in the same breath as Brasso, Zebrite
grate leading, Mansion polish, Gumption and Cardinal red, all applied by
ladies in full evening dress in 50's ads. You can still get them all, but
not in Sainsbury's.
