Kevin Burtch (kburtch@pts.mot.com) complains: > I am trying to put my transmision back into my TR7, and having a heck of > a time with it. I had the same problem the first couple of times I replaced the clutch in my TR6. Try putting a jack under the rear of the engine and raise it up slightly. The real trick is to put the jack under the engine _before_ you pull out the transmission, and raise it just enough to keep the engine from dropping below 'level'. Don't worry, it's only difficult the first three or four times. After that you'll be able to do it on the first try. -- Flemming Larsen |
