TVR/Rover question...

I was just told the Rover 3500 (SD1) taillights are the same as the TVR (280i?)
taillights, and that they go for $400 - $500 ????? 

Is there a shred of truth to any of this??

P.S. I'm picking up a 3500 that I'll be parting out tonight. I am keeping the
     engine, trans, and possibly the front and rear suspension. It has no
     windsheild and the shell is rusted badly. (very difficult to save) Let me
     know if you need anything else.
