I'm going out tomorrow to look at a 1969 Spitfire Mk. III. Now, I own a
1969 GT6+, so I'm pretty familiar with the basic car (and REAL familiar
with certain - uh - trouble spots).
I'm searching for net.wisdom on things I should look for in particular on
this car. I realize the major mechanical differences are the drivetrain,
including swing axles vs. the lower wishbone. Are there any know weaknesses
or peculiarities in the Spit Mk. III?
Another question is the value of such a car. Any ballpark figures for one
which is mechanically sounds and mostly straight? It needs an interior,
though.
