The PO of my Tahiti Blue TR7 was kind enough to short out a wire in the
dash. Refering to my wiring diagram suggests that the wire is a resistor
(has the symbol of a resistor), the colour code is pink with white
stripe, and has the description:

Eureka wire - 1.3 to 1.5 Ohms

What is this wire?

Where can I find a replacement piece?
(or can I substitute a resistor and normal wire intead?)

Is this wire just fusible link? (I thought fusible link had zero
resistance, but was of a smaller diameter than the wire it protected).

This wire seems to provide the power for the ignition module - maybe its
fried? Has anybody had theirs fry?
(this is my '77 TR7)

I wait in eager anticipation for your advice!!

Thanx,

Greg.
