I've never used a damp cloth before when cutting a car. On my badly
oxidised corolla I used Kitten No.2 Cut and Polish with reasonable
effect. All I did was apply it with one sock, wait for it to dry, and
remove it with another sock. Some bits probably should have been done
again but the finish was resonable. Certainly bits of it has a good
glow. The SD1 could probably do with a bit of cutting in places too
but the paintwork is so thin I'm not willing to risk it. You should
definitely be able to see reflections in the finish.
Oh if yet let it dry too long it's a real pain to get off.
