I started a few weeks ago a ground up restoration of a 59 Sprite Bug Eye
and this week had my first experience with Moss Motors and Victoria British ...
I wanted to get a new Hood Badge, the round one that says Austin Healey
Sprite around a "Coat of Arms". Mine (which I tought was original - the car
has many original parts in it, including keys from the factory) has 2 colors
and was a bit scratched.... to my surprise !!!!!! The one sent by Moss
Motors is TOTALY DIFFERENT !!!! with the "Coat of Arms" in YELLOW, over
a RED background and the lettering is SILVER (not gold like mine).
The one I have doies not have any RED and no SILVER either, the only color
is GOLD in a BLACK background.
Question is: Which one is closer to the real thing ? Does anybody out there
has a bugeye and could check this for me ?
