Brian Borgstede, the president of the St. Louis Triumph Owner's Association,
is recovering pretty well from the gunshot wound he received on Christmas
Eve during a robbery attempt.
He is having a third operation this week, and faces one or two more in the
future, but his spirits seem OK and he's recovering rapidly. He was shot
at extremely close range by a shotgun. It was close enough that the
surgeons removed the wadding from his abdomen.
He's got lots of Triumph books and videos (thanks to John Lye) and he's
still planning on getting married on April 23.
