I have been following this group for about a month and there are many
Truimph owners and a spattering of other makes represented.
I would like to make contact with other owners of Sunbeam Talbots,
early to mid-fifties. I purchased mine in 1962 in Montreal were it was used
as an daily runner for 3 years (except winters) and since then used only for
pleasure. Since moving to Nova Scotia 26 years ago, I haven't seen another.
My only contact with other owners is through the Sunbeam Talbot Alpine
Registry in England who also keep a decent quantity of spare parts.
Last September, we drove it to Stowe, VT to the British Invasion, a
three day event for British Car owners. We covered 2000 miles and it never
missed a beat and we came home with a 1st Place in our class (peoples
choice).
This is a great place for Brit Car Owners to hang out. Lots going on!
Bob
