TR7/8 movie appearance

My friend Tom sent this to me.  Has anyone seen this movie?

The hotel in SF had cable and so I got to see more junk than usual; one
movie called "Smokey Bites the Dust" features an orange TR7(8?) for the
first 10 minutes or so.  Police chase scenes, J-turns, tire squeals, and
smoke.  Not sure if the car is featured elsewhere in the movie; it got
too bad to watch and the Hubble on CNN was more interesting.  Anyway, if
you see this in a video store sometime, it's worth matbe $1 to rent and
check out the intro scenes.
