Sorry, Roland, but we *know* that I can fit in it. You'd go around
banging on it with wire-wheel hammers or something...

As for getting into the Seven with the hood and side curtains
erected, Michael, it's tempting to say that's why they invented
leathers. But I think the real answer is, that's why they
invented garages, especially those with room for more than
one car. Not to mention easy credit terms with low down payments.

I've been in the position where the only car I owned (or more
often, the only one that ran) was a little leaky Britcar. There
is something kind of cute about driving, say, a Spridget in a
heavy rainstorm. It's like camping: the weather protection
doesn't really do much, but it's trying so *hard* that you can't
help but admire its pluck in spite of the fact that the only
part of the rain that the gear really absorbs is the initial
stinging impact of the drops.

So I suppose it's possible to find yourself forced to drive the
Seven with hood and curtains in place. But I think the right way
to do that would be to get in the car and have a paid assistant
erect the hood and curtains around you. Either that or build a
set of ramps to drive it into the MPV and have Lynne come and pick
you up when it rains.
