Regarding 67 sprite for sale:
Is this a mark IV or mark III? The mark IV had a stock 1275 with a
nitrided crank and bigger valves that other 1275's didn't get. It's top
did not fold up and go in the trunk. The mark III had a 1098 and it's
top did fold up and go in the trunk. I like 67 mark IV Sprites the best
out of all of the mark IV cars because they retain all of the mark III
running gear which is more elegant than the plastic, fat chrome door
bits, etc. of the 68. Yep, after 67 they just added smog equipment and
plastic and stromberg carbs and spitfire engines...
