I haven't been reading this list for awhile, as I've been too busy with
work and school. Most of you probably have no idea who I am, but I own
(in part) a 59 Mini 850. My uncle and I will be tackling a "get it back
on the road" project this summer. So look for me to rejoin the list
then. As for now, I've got no time to read. :(
Our project will consist of replacing brake and clutch cylinders, one
brake line (damaged while towing), and driver's side floor. We'd also
like to fit better seats if possible and definitely seatbelts. We can't
autocross it without seatbelts ;). Hopefully it will all work out. In
the future, we may bore the engine as well. This 59 is so light that it
would really scream with a 1000 or 1275. Then there's that aluminum
crossflow head possibility, and . . .
