Scott's posting on the North American Land Rover Defender has
got me daydreaming about *new* LBCs.
Other than the newly reintroduced L-R lineup, what worthy cars is
it possible to purchase in NorAm without getting into a David and
Goliath match with the DoT?
I know that Caterham and Marcos have import representatives here;
What about others, like TVR and Morgan? Is there perhaps a
Canadian route an enterprising fellow can take to bring such
things home?
It's always a stunning moment when you suddenly realize that
maybe you don't have to just daydream, maybe, just maybe, you
can really do it. Speaking as one who didn't turn 16 until the
hideous last-gasp days of British phlegmsucking Leyland, it'd
be fantastic to actually own a *new* (!) LBC. Any thoughts on
this?
