Thanks for the info, don't stop, I need all the help I can get.
While I'm here.....The engine is a Lotus 907, this is used in some Lotus
cars?? Where do I get more info on these engines than is available in
the "shop manual", like replacement parts, etc.
907 is based on Vauxhall unit as the old twincam head atop Ford's.
I saw a little in the book "LOTUS TWINCAM ENGINES" written by Miles Wilkins.
907 has been mounted on most of the modern Lotus:
Elite, Eclat, Excel and Esprit.
Therefore, new parts may be found easily if not cheap.
