I just recived a flyer from Special Interest and was flabbergasted at
the price of the oil and air filter for my 78 Spitfire. They are on
sale this month $3.46US for the oil and $2.99US for the air filter. I
paid locally $9.00CAN for the oil and $15.00CAN for the air filter.
They also have the front flexible brake hose on sale for under $8.00US
($35CAN locally). Even with the exchange rate I don't see why this huge
price difference. Could it be that Special Interest carries cheap parts,
I'm thinking of ordering a couple of filters so does anyone have had any
dealings with Special Interest and have any comments about the quality of
their parts.
Finally a technical question, I notice that the ball joints on my car does
not have grease fittings. How does one lubricate them?
