Okay, here's a Spridget question for all you trivia
     buffs and people with original cars;
Starting with the MkII Sprite/MkI Midget and on up
to whenever the corporate safety people decided that
having rigid objects protruding from the dashboard was
a Bad Idea in the event of an accident, there were
several two-position toggle switches used for
miscellaneous stuff; dash lights, wipers, etc. My
question is which way are these switches supposed to be
oriented ? (This may not make sense until you look at
     my crummy ascii drawing below)

     ON ----( ON
                                 \
                    or \
              ( (
             /
     OFF / OFF ---(

Also, there are two different types of nuts that
retain these switches in the dash; a thin chrome
plated 6 sided nut and a chrome threaded ring that
requires a special tool with two little protrusions
that fits around the toggle and into the ring. Any
ideas about which series cars each of these retainers
     pertain to ?

          Thanks in advance-
                            daren
